Welcome to Hydro’s November monthly update!

As we close out the year, let’s take a moment to reflect on the strides we’ve made over the past month. 

From product advancements to marketing efforts, our team has been hard at work refining the Hydro ecosystem. Here’s a breakdown of the progress we’ve achieved in the past month. 

Tech/Product Updates

In November, Hydro recorded 10.8 billion seconds of proof of time, driven by 128 million unique sessions across 5.7 million users from 235 countries, reflecting the activity and growth of our platform.

Since March, we’ve onboarded over 10,000 publishers and acquired over 23 million lifetime users. The platform continues to scale rapidly, and our ability to access publisher users allows us to drive them into our ecosystem for greater growth and monetization.

Geyser Platform:
The Geyser platform is currently undergoing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), where a select group of customers is providing valuable real-world feedback. This will help us refine and perfect the platform before its full-scale launch.


Hydro+ Reward System Upgrade
The reward pools for publishers have been upgraded, with three distinct reward tiers, each tailored to the publisher's contribution. More rewards are distributed to publishers in the Plus and Premium tiers, incentivizing high-quality content and engagement.

  • Freemium Tier: The lowest share of rewards.
  • Plus Tier: The second-highest share.
  • Premium Tier: The highest share of rewards from the pool. All rewards will be distributed in USDT.

Onramping Integration:
The integration of onramping solutions is now complete. In addition, the PayPal integration is actively progressing, bringing more flexibility and payment options to our users.

Load Testing:
To ensure Hydro’s future growth and scalability, we are conducting ongoing load testing to guarantee that our platform can seamlessly handle increasing user demand.

Scaling Enhancements:
We are actively working on scaling enhancements to further improve platform performance. This includes several key infrastructure upgrades designed to ensure smooth, uninterrupted service as Hydro continues to expand.

Kafka Partitioning:
Performance testing for Kafka partitioning has been successfully completed. The production architecture specification is finalized, and AWS infrastructure is fully supporting the implementation for optimized performance.

Bot Tracking & Mitigation:
The Proof of Concept (POC) for bot tracking and mitigation has been successfully completed. Our production specifications are currently under third-party review to enhance the reliability of our system and provide added protection against malicious activities.

Database Partitioning:
In early November, we successfully implemented database partitioning in the production environment. This change has already resulted in smoother, faster operations, optimizing data handling across the platform.

Marketing Updates

Expanding Multimedia Content:
We’re enhancing our content strategy with more engaging formats, including:

  • More tailored and refined content for each platform, ensuring relevance and engagement.
  • Interactive elements such as polls and Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions to directly connect with and involve our community.

Long-Form Content:
We’re doubling down on in-depth market research reports and blog posts, diving deep into critical topics.

These long-form pieces are designed to provide valuable insights to our community and foster a deeper understanding of the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Community Plus Program
We’re launching the Community Plus program, which will provide even more value to our publishers and help drive more users into Hydro’s ecosystem, allowing us to leverage a larger user base.

Strategic Communication
We’re rolling out a new communication plan to distribute tailored content across all platforms. This approach will help us amplify our visibility while ensuring our messaging remains consistent and impactful.

Looking Ahead
Hydro’s 2025 roadmap is taking shape with a focus on enhancing monetization for publishers. We’re prioritizing products that drive fiat-based revenue for publishers, and the introduction of a new monetization product designed specifically for publishers will allow them to monetize at scale.We’re exploring fractionalization for Sui, enabling publishers to offer their content as fractional assets. This will provide a new avenue for monetization, adding further value to Hydro’s ecosystem.

New Monetization Product
A new monetization product will be introduced, focused on providing both publishers and Hydro with an additional revenue stream, resulting in more flexibility in how the publishers monetize their content and users, and increased revenue all around.

Continued Growth: We are prioritizing the expansion of Hydro’s monetization suite for publishers. More publishers mean more users, and as we continue to grow, we’ll drive these users into Hydro’s ecosystem, ensuring its continued success.

Revenue Focus: We’re focusing on fiat-based revenue and introducing products that enable publishers to generate meaningful income, which will fuel Hydro’s growth and help sustain our liquidity for the long-term.

Social Media Growth

  1. Twitter:
    • 642 replies with a 14% increase.
    • 13 bookmarks—a 225% jump!
    • 5 shares, showing improved engagement with our audience.
  2. Telegram:
    • Our Telegram group now boasts 26.5K members, with over 1K messages in just the past week.
  3. Instagram:
    • We’re nearing 15K followers, with a steady rise in accounts engaged—20 in total this month.
  4. TikTok:
    • 181 new accounts reached, demonstrating a slow but steady rise in visibility.

📢 Final Thoughts

We’re extremely excited for the future of Hydro as we continue expanding our platform, scaling our publisher base, and introducing new monetization options. The work we’ve put into refining Hydro Plus, launching new products, and focusing on publisher revenue is setting us up for explosive growth in the coming years.
